Should you ignore controversy?

Many of my mentors and friends are discussing an on-line controversy.  They have long posts about it.  But, the very act of discussing it is adding to the controversy.  Which is why I’m not even going to mention what the controversy is about.  I don’t want to add to it.

I choose to simply ignore it.

I don’t believe there is a controversy.

I know what works for me and my friend and associates. And discussing whether something is or isn’t true when I know it is true is pointless to me and a complete waste of time.

Which is my I don’t watch the news.  It’s pointless to watch violence and bad news when all of it is completely out of my control.  If I watch it I start thinking about it, which can bring it into my life.  So I don’t watch any of it.  If something really big happens I’ll hear about it.  Repeatly.

Focus on what you want and it will manifest.  Don’t let talk of controversy get in your way.

Be Grateful Now

You need to be grateful for what you have before you can move forward.

You’re reading this article and should be grateful for a huge list of things. You’re on the Internet and that means that many items you take for granted. Be grateful for them. Write a list of them and believe me your life with look fantastic. And when you are feeling good you will attract more.

I found the following article from a coach that wrote a quite good and lengthy article on gratitude. He even broke it down into different types.

Gratitude equals wealth. Wealth equals gratitude. You’ve probably heard one of those expressions before… or at least something similar. Certainly the connection seems true on an internal, emotional level. It’s hard to imagine feeling wealthy without also being grateful. And if you’re truly grateful, you probably feel wealthy as well, regardless of your actual circumstances.

Unseminar 3 - Wrap up

Unseminar 3 wrapped up yesterday. I had a nice relaxing dinner with some friends last night. We are in the process of forming a mastermind group and we talked about the seminar. Then after a relaxing jacuzzi and nice night of sleep I headed back home this morning.

Me and Joe VitaleAs always I enjoyed Joe Vitale’s talks. When he first sent out an email over a year ago about Dr. Len, Joe went from a regular Internet Marketer to someone interesting. I’ve seen him several times in the last year and even got to sit in on an interview my girlfriend Nancy Sherman had with him. His Defining Moment talk and Ask Joe anything talk were really great. I learned more about press releases and joint venturing from Joe. Thanks.

Alan Abel was so funny. I’m amazed by this man. Doing these types of protest pranks for so many years just amazes me. See a previous post that I wrote about him. He should come out with a publicity stunt seminar.

Me and Craig PerrineI’ve seen Craig Perrine talk before at one of Joe’s seminars. He’s quite funny in a subtle way. Much like me. He really understand email lists. I understand now how emails and blogs can relate to each other better because of Craig. I also learned a tip that I’ll be implementing on my website very shortly on offering extra when people join my newsletter list. I saw his wife Aimee’s watercolor painting and it is beautiful.

Bill Hibbler added a comment a couple of weeks ago about starting a mastermind group. He gave a great talk about mastermind groups and got each mastermind session in the morning started. I’ve stated before that his and Joe’s book Meet and Grow Rich I think is required reading for new mastermind people.

Nathan Anderson showed me that my search engine optimization techniques I have applied to this website are good and I really do not need to do any further. See my previous article about some of his free ebooks and resources.

I met Amy Grant (not the singer) last May at Joe’s first ground breaking Beyond Manifestation Weekend. Joe’s comment “Money loves speed” really changed her. She is now a successful Internet Marketer and this was her first speaking engagement on it. I loved that she does what she loves instead of just staying in a niche. She does ass kicking coaching, says so right on her website “An occasional ass-kicking may be administered (when required or requested)”.

Me and Pat O’BryanI gave my new ebook Play Prosperity Games to Joe Vitale, Bill Hibbler, and Craig Perrine, Pat O’Bryan the facilitator the weekend to see if they would like to joint venture on it. I received a lot of great feedback from participants of the seminar and all the people who have read my book. I’m very excited about helping people come up with new exciting ideas based on what they love. It all feels so right and I’m loving going through the process. Many participants also received my book and I look forward to their feedback. Playing games to come up with new business ideas will change the world.

I enjoyed meeting so many people. I’ll have to go through my business cards and connect with them all. I’m having the time of my life and it is wonderful to share it with my amazing girlfriend Nancy. She also had a product that she is looking for joint venture partners for. Both of us there meeting people and talking about our current project was so much fun. I’m very proud of Nancy’s new hypnosis audio on prosperity. I requested it and I’m so happy that she and our friend Mike Glenn are coming out with such a cool and fantastic product. I’ll let everyone know as soon as it is available because it is just amazing. I feel like Richard Branson after listening to it.

I had a very prosperous mind weekend.

World’s Strongest Dad

I’m just settling in the office from Pat’s Unseminar 3. I thought I would check my email before writing a post about my weekend. My good friend Marshall Calvert in Las Vegas sent me and email about this father and son’s story. Make sure you watch the video it brought a tear to my eye.

This love story began in Winchester , Mass. , 43 years ago, when Rick Was strangled by the umbilical cord during birth, leaving him Brain-damaged and unable to control his limbs.

When Rick was nine months old the doctors told Dick and his wife, Judy “He’ll be a vegetable the rest of his life;” … “Put him in an Institution.”

But the Hoyts weren’t buying it. They noticed the way Rick’s eyes followed them around the room. When Rick was 11 they took him to the Engineering department at Tufts University and asked if there was anything to help the boy communicate. “No way,” Dick says he was told. “There’s nothing going on in his brain.”

“Tell him a joke,” Dick countered. They did. Rick laughed. Turns out a Lot was going on in his brain.
Rick was rigged up with a computer that allowed Him to control the cursor by touching a switch with the side of his Head, Rick was finally able to communicate.

Rick’s first words? “Go Bruins!”… And after a high school classmate was paralyzed in an accident and the School organized a charity run for him, Rick pecked out, “Dad, I want to do that.”

Yeah, right. How was Dick, a self-described “porker” who never ran More than a mile at a time, going to push his son five miles? Still, he tried. “Then it was me who was handicapped,” Dick says. “I was sore For two weeks.”

That day changed Rick’s life….. “Dad,” he typed,… “when we were running, It felt like I wasn’t disabled anymore!”…….And that sentence changed Dick’s life…forever.
