The Story of Frogs

Here is a good story of reaching for your dreams.

Once upon a time there was a bunch of tiny frogs…. who arranged a running competition.

The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower.

A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants….

The race began….

Honestly, no one in the crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower.

You heard statements such as:

“Oh, WAY too difficult!!”

“They will NEVER make it to the top.”

or:

“Not a chance that they will succeed. The tower is too high!”

The tiny frogs began collapsing. One by one….

Except for those, who in a fresh tempo, were climbing higher and higher….

The crowd continued to yell, “It is too difficult!!! No one will make it!”

More tiny frogs got tired and gave up….

But ONE continued higher and higher and higher….

This one wouldn’t give up!

At the end everyone else had given up climbing the tower. Except for the one tiny frog who, after a big effort, was the only one who reached the top!

THEN all of the other tiny frogs naturally wanted to know how this one frog managed to do it?

A contestant asked the tiny frog how he had found the strength to succeed and reach the goal?

It turned out….That the winner was DEAF!!!!

The wisdom of this story is:

Never listen to other people’s tendencies to be negative or pessimistic…. because they take your most wonderful dreams and
wishes away from you — the ones you have in your heart!

Always think of the power words have, because everything you hear and read will affect your actions!

Therefore:

ALWAYS be….POSITIVE!

And above all: Be DEAF when people tell YOU that you cannot fulfill your dreams!

Always think: God and I can do this!

If you fall down 10 times,
Stand up 11.

Don’t listen to negatives around you.  And just do it.

Unseminar - Day 2 - Nathan Anderson

Nathan Anderson just got done taling about search engine optimization (SEO).

His information is great.  Most of what SEO experts say is wrong.  Instead of writing about all his tips go get his free ebooks at seotactics.com and ArtOfTheContentSite.com.

I was surprised to find that subdomains help in getting better search engine optimization and folder names do not help.

He recommend a few books.  The Strategy of the Dolphin book I have never heard of.  When you give you get more back.

Unseminar - Day 2 - Alan Abel

Alan Abel stole the show yesterday at Day 2 of Unseminar 3. He was so funny.Me with Alan AbelJoe Vitale and Alan Abel

He recommends to use your wits to win. Ask for the impossible and have fun in life. Don’t procrastinate and get out of your own way.

His pranks are classy and world class. Many of them proved a point to those with an open mind.

Don’t be surprised if he comes out with a seminar on how to do publicity stunts.

Unseminar 3 - Day 1

Joe Vitale spoke at Pat O’Bryan’s Unseminar 3 here in Austin Texas USA. He talked about his defining moments.  Saying yes to life and have no doubts.  Follow your passion and do your next project that has the most energy for you.

Cindy Cashman was next and she spoke about going from broke to planning her wedding in space.

Craig Perrine talked about list building.   He recommends showing your emotion and what you love.  Using a blog is good along with a newsletter. Keeping emails shorter and blogs are okay to be longer.  Build your story into the content.  Just be yourself.   I was surprised that they don’t do contracts with doing joint ventures.  They simply just don’t do business with them ever again.

Bill Hibbler says if you are not an expert interview an expert.  Don’t worry if someone else is doing it.  Pick a focus and go with it.  Use a funnel model of free, then low cost, then multimedia and consulting to live seminars.   Followup after they buy and tell them about a concept in your book and their credit card bill will show your company name.

Lunch and dinner at Vintage Villa are fantastic.  Great quality and they do vegetarian.

I got to talk to several attendees after dinner in the “fun hall” and got some great ideas.

IWantToMeetRichardBranson.com

I want to meet Richard Branson.

He is a distant mentor of mine. I have read his two big books Losing My Virginity and Screw It, Let’s Do It. I have been blogging about him when he does something that amazes me.

I was listening to a marketing audio by another mentor of mine Joe Vitale when he suggested just simply asking to meet someone you admire. And since my company is in the Internet business I put up this website.

If you are Richard Branson or you know Richard Branson or even know someone that knows Richard Branson, please contact me.
