Inspired Marketing

InspiredMarketingI’ve been looking forward to a new book “Inspired Marketing” since Craig Perrine one of the authors and I discussed it. Three weeks ago at a Prosperity Games dinner party which Craig attended we discussed “Inspired Marketing”. Craig told me that the 14 people interviewed showed how inspired action lead to their success. I’ve been doing that for a number of years now and agree that inspired action has lead to more success and a lot more fun in my life.

Good News

Does your business talk about good news? Do you share good news? In a world of negatives, simply sharing good news can have you above the crowd.

Jeff Crilley shows us some examples of good news that got on T.V.

Are you a work-a-holic?

IMG_3379Here is my view last night. My girlfriend’s twins wanted to come to the beach one last time (well, maybe the last) with a friend. I woke up Wednesday and after meditating find out we are leaving for the beach in an hour.

We can have spur-of-the-moment trips like this, but usually I get a bit more notice. So off to the beach. With the Internet and a laptop I can work anywhere. The condo here has great wireless and I worked on my latest project code named Ocean Waves as I started it when we came to the beach for three months in December. It’s going to save many people a ton of money.

We watched “A Good Year” the first night. The London stock broker work-a-holic “retires” to a French winery. He learns that there is more to life than just work, even if it is inspired work. Life is so much richer with variety. Our friends out of the USA think that Americans are slaves. “The money, or your life.  It is a great movie that shows there is so much more to life.

IMG_3393 I worked three hours this morning and most of that was listening to an educational course and implementing some things it talked about. I blogged about the audio.

I then published a guest blog from Rhonda Ryder about kids and the law of attraction. Promoted it to my lists and got quite a few comments. Comment and participate in the discussion.

Then I was off to the beach with the family. Read a non-business book. Played in the waves with the kids. Laid out in the sun. Had a great time. Then warmed up in the hot tub.

IMG_3362Are you a work-a-holic? Do you think you have to work all the time? I use to. It didn’t work for me. I didn’t have time to enjoy life. I didn’t have time to think. I didn’t have time to let inspiration come to me. I failed. Repeatly. And it wasn’t fun. I now focus on what I want to get done and not all of it is business. I am more successful now. I feel great. The more I enjoy life the more inspired I get and the more successful I get. I go fast but I also have a life. Money loves speed but you have to have a life otherwise you’re just a slave to your own company or worse someone else’s.

If you are working all the time and/or a work-a-holic you are doing something wrong. Your business plan is flawed, majorly. Fix your business plan and it’ll fix your life.  Watch the movie “A Good Year”.

So enjoy life. You’ll make more money and live a lot longer.

Light The Way For Your Kids With The Law of Attraction

Here is a guest article by Rhonda Ryder Founder of KidsAwakening.com

One of the best ways to share The Law of Attraction with your children and teenagers is to model how this law works in your own life. In fact, modeling the benefits of The Law of Attraction is far more effective than trying to teach your children these concepts with words.

Sure, we learn from the words in books and movies…but if you really want your children to understand that they are creators of their own realities, living this truth yourself is the best thing you can do.

How Can You Model Law Of Attraction Thinking To Your Children?

When something you’ve been trying to create manifests in your life, let your children know. If they’re not interested, that’s okay. This isn’t about preaching or pushing this way of thinking on anyone, including your kids.

However, you could make a habit of allowing them to overhear you telling a friend about your experiences with The Law of Attraction. Or you could invite someone over to watch an enlightening movie with you. If your child is interested, they might join you. The most important thing is to let your kids see you as being joyful. Do your best to constantly raise your vibration.

What If You’re Stuck At A Low Vibration?

So what should you do if you’re going through a hard time? Should you hide your feelings from your children in fear that you might be setting a bad example?

You cannot really hide sadness, depression or anger from your children. They pick up on just about everything, including your energy or vibration. No matter how much you put on a happy face, they can still feel your energy. In addition, you may often find that your children reflect back the emotions that you, yourself are trying to hide.

If you are guided to do so, and if it seems appropriate, why not use this opportunity to be honest with your children and tell them that you’re feeling sad, angry or frustrated. You don’t need to tell them the details of your situation. If you’re not sure what to say, remind yourself to be in the moment and the words will come. If the words don’t come, then just “be” with your child. This is also a form of communication and love.

You could also mention to your kids that you would like to work your way up the emotional ladder to feeling better. Why? For one, you enjoy feeling better and two, you know that by feeling better, you will attract more and more of the things you want into your life.

The trick is to do whatever you can to keep raising your emotions toward joy. The books that continue to help me raise my vibration are the Abraham-Hicks books, especially, “Ask And It Is Given.”

Again, your first responsibility is to take care of yourself. Sure, things come up and we have challenges. Work through it and don’t beat yourself up, but know that by expanding your understanding of The Law of Attraction and applying this understanding to your own life, you will provide a powerful example for your children and teenagers to do the same.
