It looks like 2008 is the year of no BS. Many people are coming out with no BS seminars, courses, products, and services.

The atmosphere thru 2007 was that teachers had special secrets. Special knowledge. If you only buy this one more thing you’ll be successful.

It’s refreshing to see that some people are saying no BS. I just hope it’s not another marketing spin. I’ve meet a few Internet Marketing experts selling seminars and ebooks and was very surprised how little success they had. They are giving seminars (which were awful) and they were less successful than we are.

Be careful who you trust for coaching and training. Many people I know are genuinely worried that people spend all their money for products, coaching and training that do not help. Some people are going broke spending $100,000 USD on various items and not making any money.

It’s a secret in the training and coaching industries that many people that go through it do not succeed. It is really up to the student but some trainers/coaches are faking it. “What someone can’t do, they teach”. Then there are teachers that really did succeed in doing it that turn or add on teaching. My first accountancy class in college was that way. I had the honor class at 7:30am and it was a professional accountant that would teach for 50 minutes and then go to work. Great class. Great teacher. Then I’ve had the seminars where the “teacher” talks about automation and then on a break hires his/her first assistant right in front of me. I couldn’t believe it.

So check out people. Talk to someone that has taken their course. Ask your mastermind group and your network.

If you are not into Internet Marketing don’t worry I have many resources listed that have nothing to do with Internet Marketing.  And anyways I don’t think the term Internet Marketing is valid anymore.  I mean who doesn’t have a website now?  Large and small have a website.  Internet Marketing is one of many techniques of marketing.  I look at myself as a business person that for this website use some Internet Marketing techniques.  I think in the future people will just say I’m a marketer or business person.
