So I purchased TuneUp last week to help me in that.

All I had to do was drag the tracks that I wanted “cleaned up” over to TuneUp and it automatically tries to figure out what it really is.  Then you get a list and you can click save and it updates them for you automatically.

TuneUp is very accurate. I got almost all my “Various Artists” all fixed, but it also found some covers that I was missing.  The only issue I had was in some albums that were produced under many different names. For some reason mostly Christmas music. The same selection of songs had a dozen or more album names. I just ignored those.

I found some songs that I haven’t heard in ages because I can now find them.

TuneUp works great, it’s easy to use and my iTunes libary and I thank it for helping out.
