I’m at the beach for the month of December. Some of it to relax like this weekend. Some of it to work like any other day.

My partner Nan and I focus on working smart not hard. We’ve noticed that the businesses that thrive are smart and not hard.

I don’t understand why working hard is better. I mean I work but I don’t struggle at it. I don’t work myself into the ground and don’t have a life.

Yet some people in my life think I should work hard.

Why?

Working hard doesn’t mean you’ll be more successful. It just means you won’t be as successful because you are so busy that you don’t think about how to automate your business.

Businesses are money making machines that produce a product or service that people want. Not something to keep you busy.

That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t love what you do. You have to love what you do.

Well, I’m off to watch a movie.  Work smart not hard.  And enjoy life.

I’m back from a two month holiday.

I had a fantastic time in London, Manchester, surrounding England, Edinburgh and a lot of Scotland and of course Paris which I love.

I look thousands of photos. The sights renewed my interest in photography. I have a degree in it along with my business degree and all the art and landscapes inspired me to upload my collection up on Flickr. So I’ve been uploading past photos from my other trips. My favorites (which I’m still adding to) is the best place to start.

I learned a lot from being away from two months. The trip went very well and I’ll be sharing some tips and tricks for going away for so long.

Scotland was fantastic and I will never forget it. It was like coming home to me. I’m part Scottish and after many generations I’m the first to go back.

I was really enjoying myself. The trip was fantastic until we got to Paris and then it just wowed me. I loved Paris much more than London. Paris is so artistic and fun. My girlfriend Nancy and I just couldn’t get enough of Paris.

I’m going to write some articles about our trip. About how to run business while away for so long and how you can do it too. It’s not hard. I found it easy.

So I’m starting back to a more part-time work schedule than I’ve had in two months. And I’m excited about sharing my photos and future articles and books that I come up with on my trip. I created an idea for a book on this trip that I believe many of you will enjoy.

One tip, lots of luggage is OK. That is why they invented bell boys, even though the name is a bit demeaning. They sure are helpful with eight pieces of luggage.

I’ve enjoyed visiting Paris. It is truly lovely here.

Technically London is better but I love Paris more. It is so artistic here. Romantic.

I can’t remember the amount of couples “making out” everywhere. The metro, under the Eiffel Tower, parks, and even street corners. People here expect it. It’s normal to express your love. A lesson many should understand outside France. I didn’t see one couple other me and Nacny doing that in London. Yes, Paris is special and very different from England. England has so many camera and sends tickets to you in the mail it is like Big Brother. Paris has the attitude like America. Free. I thought America would be like England and I’m so wrong. America is like France except for all nude art and statues and attitudes.

I’ve enjoyed seeing the Eiffel Tower. Even got to have a romantic picnic under it the other night with my love Nancy. Wine and the lights of the Eiffel Tower were very nice. I highly recommend it.

The stained glass and atmospherics of Notre Dame is amazing. I thought what I was seeing was computer generated it was so unreal. I was awestruck which doesn’t happen to me a lot.

The Louvre is the best museum. I thought the British Museum was good. But the Louvre is awesome. Everything in it is so amazing. I found it funny that one of the smallest painting in it has it’s own wall and security guards. The “Mona Lisa” is the most famous piece there. On the opposite wall a very huge painting that you can stand right in front of. But, the “Mona Lisa” you can only get within a few feet of. Just amazing. It doesn’t matter the size of the art work but the story, the person, the quality that is important.

The real Paris is in the cafes and lifestyle that people enjoy. There is no stress. There is only life. It’s a good life, full of art and the art of living. People spend a lot of money learning how to enjoy life when all the have to do is come and stay in Paris for a while. Montmartrenet is the real paris for me. A great village inside Paris.

My three weeks here is almost over and I already miss it. I will be coming back. I will never forget this trip. And doing it all my Love Nancy has truly been wonderful.

Today is a down day for me. For the last week Nancy and I have been visiting the sights and sounds of Paris France. We’ve been having a lovely time.

But sometime you need a day off. For me at least one day a week, even when on holiday or vacation. This holiday has been going on for over a month and we have another two weeks to go. But you still need breaks. And today is it. It’s raining in Paris and we have many fun items to do tomorrow and the rest of the week.

So, I’m catching up with what my friends are doing. I pull out my favorite news reader Google Reader and find that my mastermind buddy Bruce Burns is writing about. I find Bruce’s tips on negotiating to be priceless. He has a wonderful negotiating checklist free on his website. Well worth checking out.

So Bruce is talking about being at a recent Joe Vitale book signing and meeting Joe and Dr. Len. Bruce has a personal story (along with Suzanne and myself) in the Joe and Dr. Len’s recent book “Zero Limits” you see. Bruce got to meet Dr. Len again and they discussed Bruce’s lovely wife Suzanne’s Eraser Cleaning Wand which was inspired by the Ho’oponopono process which is discussed in the Zero Limits book. I got to see the prototypes of these first hand. They are truly wonderful hand made pieces of art or d’art as they say here in Paris.

It was nice to get caught up on what your buddies are doing. Nice to see people taking vacations and posting photos like I do. And nice to see business going on as usual. My “little” vacation of 1.75 months is also spurring on ideas in me. Taking notes for an upcoming book based on my “little” vacation. Also having some last items done on my next book.

What I really noticed is how the more unplugged I am the more I get done. I’m on an extended vacation and I have three products in various stages of completion and I’m seeing some of the most glorious scenes of my life. Plus I came up with an idea for a new book and I only would have come up with it by traveling which is my favorite technique for coming up with new ideas which I talk about in my last book Play Prosperity Games. Being unplugged from the real world is helpful. It give you so much time and doesn’t take up your brain. I’ve been practicing this art of being unplugged for many years but not to this degree. And I’m getting more done.

Well, my hour a week to catch up with the real world is over. My tools allow me to quickly find out what is important to me and it doesn’t include news. And I’m off to living life here in Paris.

Au revoir

We got back from the Lighting Spectacle known as Les Grandes Eaux Nocturnes at Château de Versailles just outside Paris.

It took 2 and a half hours to get home. Paris train/metro system shuts off at 1am on a Saturday night which is why many clubbers just party to 5:30am when it starts again. We had to switch from bus to train to taxi to get home.

So it was 2am when we got back from a fantastic night at Château de Versailles. The lighting and music was very artistic. I loved it. The French really know how to party.

This is a movie rear projected on to a stream of water. Very cool.

My favorite was the Bosque de la Colonnade where each lighted fountain played a musical note when lite. Here is a short video on it.

I also really enjoyed the fireworks at the end of the night. Here’s the video.

Walked 6.8 miles today.

I recently visited Scotland and it was very emotional for me.

I’m part Scottish. I like going to Highland Games and I wear a Scottish flag pin on my suit jacket.

I felt an undefined emotion build up in me before entering Scotland. I was driving north and my emotions were building up and then I saw the sign “Scotland Welcomes You” and it just hit me. I starting crying. I have wanted to visit Scotland for many many years and I was finally here. My girlfriend Nancy started crying because she knows how special this was for me. And our friend Natasha who lives in Manchester England starts crying because she also knows that going to Scotland is like returning home for me.

I felt like I was returning to my home land without ever thinking it was going to happen and then very quickly it happens. I manifested this trip very quickly and it was amazing. It all stemmed from our friends in England wanted to go to Scotland to see Mother Meera. This matched with me wanting to visit Scotland so up we go. Mark another friend in Manchester really loves to visit her when she is near so me, Nancy, Natasha, Mark, Thelma, and Peryl went to Edinburgh.

Before darshan with Mother Meera we visited Rossyln Chapel made famous in the Da Vinci Code book and movie. This place is amazing. The detail is almost unreal. Check out the photos I took. Just amazing detail.

After darshan with Mother Mera our friends left for Manchester and Nancy and I went around the rest of Scotland. What an amazing country. For one they issue their own currency in pounds. They take care of their own internal affairs and leave the UK to handle all outside affairs. Scotland is very independent. Reminds me of myself. And the own lots of dogs. I saw dogs everywhere. In the city and in the country. It seems everyone owns at least one dog. Many several. Very dog friendly place to stay.

Then we stayed in a hotel in downtown Edinburgh with an amazing view of the Edinburgh Castle. The next day we visited Edinburgh Castle and then bought lots of gifts for family and friends. It’s interesting that when we told family and friends that we were going to London people said have fun, but when we said we were going to Scotland I got emails for requests of all sorts of Scottish things. Tartans, pennants, scarfs with their family tartan, you name it.

Then we drove to our next place for the night at the Borthwick Castle just outside Edinburgh. And it is one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. I highly recommend people stay here. And here is why.

You stay in an actual castle. The place is amazing. We stayed in the “Mary Queen of Scots” room. We had to climb spiral staircase to get to it. Before dinner we came down for drinks and it was just Nancy and I. We were then told that the other guest would not be dining with us because they were picking up guests for a birthday party the next day. So we had the whole castle to ourselves. The service was amazing. The food delightful. And the castle was enchanting. Staying in an actual castle is one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. Having the place all to ourselves normally costs £5,000 GPD which is over $10,000 USD. We throughly enjoyed our private time at the castle.

The next two places in Scotland were Castle Hotels. One was a Victorian style huge house looking over some castle ruins. The next a Victorian house with a castle nearby. This place is very nice also. Glengarry Castle Hotel south of Inverness is very affordable and nice. It is on a loch or lake which is south of Loch Ness. The rooms are very good. The view of the loch is fantastic and the service is very good. This is my second favorite place to stay in Scotland.

We made a couple of day trips from Glengarry Castle Hotel. One to Findhorn and another to Loch Ness. Nancy read a book about Findhorn years ago and wanted to visit and interview them. Findhorn is a unique spiritual ecofriendly village. Made famous for growing large vegatables in the north of Scotland many years ago. Why it is right next to an airforce base I have no idea. Getting flown over several times an hour is annoying. But besides that I enjoyed the tour and the feeling of the people and place.

We then went back to Edinburgh for one more night. And then drove from Edinburgh to London in one day. In fact, stayed for dinner in Manchester with all of our friends. We stayed a week in London for free. Yes free. I’ll let you know how we did it in a future ebook. You too can do it.

Rumors of dropping off the face of the earth are untrue.

I’m alive and in Paris France.

I stayed in several castle hotels in Scotland and had Internet access only on one occasion.

Now staying in Paris for almost three weeks with very reliable Internet.

I’ll write about the castle we stayed in Scotland that we had all to ourselves. The London Zoo, Monty Python, Rita Pearlman and the hidden canals of London.

We visited the stonehedge of the North today.

We drove many miles thru mountain passes in the rain for quite a while. It rained all day like crazy. Once we arrived the rain picked up along

Arbor Low is a hedge or prehistoric structure. It is not tall like Stonehedge but pretty low. The rocks are in a circle within a circle of earth. You can walk around Arbor Low unlike Stonehedge. It was lovely to visit with Nancy, Natasha and Mark. It is said to have 360 energy lines into it. This is one of the many places I wanted to visit during my stay. I also want to see Stonehedge even though you can’t walk inside it anymore and it was lovely to walk around Arbor Low for a couple of hours. Visited a site that was built in 2500 B.C. is fun and energizing.

Even with a raincoat I got wet. It was raining and blowing. I felt like I was in the midst of a cloud. I bought a proper raincoat to make sure that doesn’t happen again.

We went out for the day to North Wales. To visit a spiritual site named St. Winefride’s Well in Holywell Wales. It has been a pilgrims place for many centuries. Henry VIII abolished Catholic Church’s back in the 1500’s. It is the only place to survive in the British Isles to survive.

All the signs in Wales are in English and Welsh. How Mold, Wales, UK comes out to be in Welsh three times longer I have no idea. The language has many letter repeated. Many Welsh don’t know Welsh and only English but a revival in the language has occurred recently.

Then we visited an Greenfield Valley, old Abbey that didn’t survive the Henry VIII abolishment of Catholic Church. It is just ruins.

Lovely green country. I know why they call Mold it’s name. Very wet climate.

Over dinner of wonderful Chinese on the coast of Wales we discussed the new Zero Limits book by Joe Vitale. A testimonial of mine is in the book. I found it surreal that I was in Wales talking about a book that just came out in America. Natasha had heard of Dr. Len and Dr. Vitale and so Nancy and I discussed the simple concept behind Zero Limits. The world is a small place and growing smaller. Good ideas sweep the globe faster and faster.

Nancy and I have been touring Northern England the last few days.

The drive out of London was interesting. I’ve driven on the left side of the road before but not in a big city and London is big, very big. It took 45 minutes to go from the upper West End of London to the motorway M1. By the second day I was comfortable driving on the left again. Having the driving wheel on the right helps.

We drove to Lincoln and stayed at a nice B&B. For the second time I blew all the fuses out in the room and this time the whole place. My surge protector and the power converter didn’t get along for the second time so I threw the now damaged surge protector away.

The next day Nancy interviewed George David Fryer. He is a psychic artist. The interview was very good. Look forward to seeing the show. He did drawing for both of us. Great time.

Then we drove to Nottingham, past home for Robin Hood. The whole city is one way streets. Getting a hotel room was interesting. Got one in the hip fashion area of Nottingham. Lots of music venues. Very fashionable people there. Reminded me of hip areas of London.

The rest areas on the motorways are very nice. Lots of style and the food is terrific. Even pubs in small towns have vegetarian meals. Ever single place has vegetarian meals. England is like California with manners. The drivers actually drive well.

The next day we drove to John Davies. Nancy interviewed him about Reiki.

Then we came in and stayed with Nancy’s friend Natasha. She is a lovely woman and her house and garden are very lovely. She took us out to Gigli’s a nice Italian restaurant. Natasha knows the owners and we had a lovely time. They say lovely around here a lot, btw.

On my trip to London I had no idea that I would manifest seeing one of my all time favorite bands Genesis live in concert. I started really enjoying music with Phil Collins Face Values album which lead to Genesis. I have all there albums numbering 20+. I have there EPs. You name it I have it. So being in London the same day they are is just fantastic. Amazing.

We took the public train to the show. They played in the biggest Rugby stadium in the UK. A huge crowd came to see them play again.

The police here are very nice. They help people. I saw several people that were way past drunk. In the States they would have been arrested. Here they helped them up and make sure they are safe as long as you don’t drive. If you drink and drive you are toast.

I asked one “Bobbie” where the will call window was and after a brief pause he answered me with what they call it here. It’s ticket window by the way.

The crowd was huge. Some huge number of people. My Nan and I’s seats were excellent. Right on the ground in front of the stage. I got some fantastic photos. A truly great concert packed full of my favorite songs. I sang to all the songs. I enjoyed it and had a lovely time.

The ride back on the train was standing room only all the way which after 2.5 hours of standing for the concert my feet were a bit tired. Plus we walked along the Thames all afternoon enjoying the shops and sights. Walked about 6.5 miles and stood for 3.5 hours at the concert and train back.

We booked the London Eye from Saturday today. And I got tickets to the rock group Genesis, who I’ve been fans of for a long time. I’m so looking forward to seeing them Sunday night.

We visited the British Museum today. Very nice. Big pieces. Really good museum and I’m not a museum type of guy. But, they had huge pieces. It is really stunning.

Then off for an early supper at Covent Garden. Busy outdoor shopping area. We ate at Chez Gerard and wonderful French place. The Cod and Ratatouille were wonderful. The mango sherbet and Port were fantastic. A truly great meal.

Then we were going to see the Tate Modern but noticed the late time so headed off to see Die Hard 4.0. That is what they named it over here. Most expensive movie I’ve been to. $60 for just two tickets, nothing else. Mind you the Empire Theatre has been open since 1884 so it very historic. It’s the oldest Theatre I’ve been to ever, but we may beat that after we see a couple of plays. We will see.

The flight to London was very nice. The private jet experience by SilverJet was fantastic. Great service. Our hostess Feliz was a delight. Very nice British accent that brought us our drinks and dinner. Her name is unusually as it mean happy in Spanish even though she is British.

We had grilled lamb chops with polenta, broad beans with plum tomatoes. With a Gu chocolate pudding for dessert. Very very good. Best inflight meal I’ve ever had.

Woke up after sleeping on the plane and got to hotel Park Plaza Riverside by 10am. Sleeping overnight on such a flight really helps adjust to the new time zone.

Our hotel has a fantastic view of Parliament, Big Bend and the London Eye.

After strolling by Parliament and Big Bend, we visited Westminster Abbey. Over 3000 people are buried within. It is just full of tributes to people. We saw Sire Isaac Newton’s memorial. Just like I saw it in the movie “Da Vinci Code”. Then we had a rest at St. James’ Park. Prince Charles use to live in the house in the park but moved out in 2002. Lunch was vegetarian lasagna at a traditional pub St. Stephens Tavern across the street from Parliament.

Went back to the Hotel for a much needed nap before hitting Chinatown. We ate at the Fung Shui Inn and had the Sizzling Feast. The Crispy Duck, Crispy Seaweed, Pineapple Fried Rice and Beef with Chile Sauce were the best Chinese food I have ever had. This place is very good.

Then we walked around Picadilly Circus and saw the sights before heading back to the hotel.

Our first day in London was magically.

I’m sitting in a private lounge waiting for our plane to be ready.

The sandwiches are exceptional, things like smoked salmon and Brie, chines sesame chicken with yellow tomatoes, with asparagus…a unique delight! It is quiet and relaxing, unlike the typical airport experience, especially international. No security lines, no waiting and excellent personal service,and the place is relaxing.

Well, got to go.

I’m flying first class to London in a couple of hours and across the Atlantic in a private jet. I’ll be traveling throughout England and Scotland for the next 34 days. London, Manchester, and Edinburgh are my major stops.

I’ll be writing two e-books and a DVD while enjoying the sights and sounds of the UK.

I’ll post photos of my travels. I’ll share my experiences.

This trip would not have been possible without the processes in my e-book Play Prosperity Games. The concepts in the book made it possible to have the lifestyle I want. To be able to take off for a month and still have various businesses still move forward. I need to travel in order to renew my idea bank. I need new experiences and relax in order to come up with new exciting business ideas.

I have no idea what the UK will bring me and I look forward to finding out.

Our dolphin watch guide Bruce thought we attracted dolphins. He never saw so much activity and the show they put on for us.

I think they were attracted to us because we are so vibrationally happy.

Being business people has it’s pleasures as we took off in the middle of the week and enjoyed ourselves while our businesses continued without us.

Enjoy just a couple of minutes of our great time.
